No one recognized the statue of Bounty among the Seven Virtues statues in St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. These days it would seem as though any friend carrying a bounty is a good friend indeed.  Regardless, the statues are cool and that they exist at all is a testament to a committed portion of the public working to save them. This week we have something much closer to home. Yes, I realize that inflatable Christmas decorations have reached the point of ubiquity but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fun to look at.  After all, an inflatable decoration is about the only way we can see a snowman in Florida (well, let’s keep our fingers crossed on that one given the cold weather of late). Ubiquitous perhaps, but there are also a few clues. Where are we this week? Send your best guess, a good snow story or even your own postcard to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
